Description: The Elias Beach Hotel & Country Club is a large modern resort situated on its own private sandy beach, one kilometer from the ancient Amathus site, 10 kilometers from the center of Limassol, south Cyprus. The 175 air- conditioned guestrooms have a bright contemporary décor with wood fittings and feature balconies with views of the sea or mountains. All include minibars, pay TV channels, radio and hairdryers. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning and the two restaurants serve a range of Greek specialties and international dishes, as well as playing host to theme dining nights and live music. Guests can swim in the hotel's pools or relax on the sun terraces with some refreshment from the poolside bar. Children are catered for with a children's pool, playground and miniclub offering organized activities in season. The hotel boasts a fitness center with pool, sauna, steam bath, squash and tennis courts, as well as a hair salon, souvenir shop and conference facilities. Active guests can head to the beach for volleyball, water sports and the diving school, or take advantage of the hotel's Country Club that plays host to archery, football, horse riding, shooting and nature trails. Those wishing to explore the area can hire a car or take the local bus into the cosmopolitan resort center of Limassol, a fifteen minute drive, 10 kilometers away, or visit the medieval castle (11 kilometers). The hotel is approximately 60 kilometers or a forty-five minute drive from Larnaca airport. |
